ABOUT JULIE
Julie Brackenbury, developed Julesbury Press as a "freelance" graphic design and
consulting firm created to help smaller local businesses with their advertising needs.
Julie is the former publisher of MainStreet Media LLC for
The Gallatin Newspaper, located
on the Square in Gallatin. During her tenure she had the opportunity to create, develop and
start the newest member of the MainStreet Media LLC family,
The Hendersonville Standard,
located in Hendersonville, TN.
Before working in the news and advertising industry, Julie spent many years as Vice
President of a local truck rental and leasing firm, West Rents NationaLease. As a matter of
fact, when you see those big black tractors and trailers riding down the interstate, one of her
first designs was the famous arrowhead logo. This company grew into one of the largest
local truck rental and leasing firms in the State of Tennessee with branches in Memphis
Knoxville, and Nashville.
After the sell of the company, Julie decided to move closer to home and made the leap into the news and advertising field
where she began at
The Gallatin News Examiner in Gallatin and The Hendersonville Star News in Hendersonville.
She worked for many years as a graphic designer and artist. She then took on the position as Circulation Manager for both
papers. She worked as an Advertising Consultant as well.
It was from this point that she began to work closely with Realtors across Sumner County as the Art Director of the
Real
Estate Review.
Julie decided to attend Volunteer State Community College and acquire her Tennessee Real Estate
License as an affiliate Broker. She felt it would to give her a better understanding of the real estate clients' advertising
needs.
She was given the opportunity to work with Gwen Dowland as her assistant with Re/Max Choice Properties in Gallatin and
Hendersonville.
From her past to her present, Julie has built strong relationships with her clients and truly knows how to work hard
and get the job done. She has the sheer dedication and determination to strive for only the best for her clients.
“I guess the bottom line is...I just love to help people, no
matter what it might be and if I can't, I will help them find
someone who can!”
- Julie Brackenbury.
